I'll be gone for a few days after Christmas for some old fashioned family vaca - meaning, no connection to the inter-world, and plenty of time for crab fishing-I mean, swimming. ;D I'll be heading south to escape the cold and revel in post-Christmas omg-I-have-to-go-back-to-school-soon jubilee! I'll be back to throw in some kisses and words on the dawn of 2010, though. Take care, everyone!

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Since I’ve been drawing guys a lot lately, I have to answer “male”. =w=; I wonder if I can still draw females...xD;

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Loooooooong~

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Facing to the left. I still have trouble with faces facing to the right. >u>;;

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
SIDE! My fronts always look so squished…ouo;

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Perspective +shoes, Perspective +hands, Perspective + background…and COLORING. oAo

◆What do you like to draw?
Guys. In suits. Or in street gear. Doing martial arts/fighting. Mainly action poses~

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
More traditional – I like the feel of paper~<3

◆Where do you start drawing from?
(My head? xD lol) Pencil out a light draft of where everything’s positioned (relatively), and then start with character(s), then the background.

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I skimp out on my backgrounds (they need more love). There’s probably a lot more that I’m not aware of…ovo

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
I really would like to offer you tips, but I think you guys probably know a lot more about coloring than I do (or can ask much better sources). xD; A tip on shading would be to always keep in mind a source of light. (*needs to follow own advice*)

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Ooh. Tough question. Uhmmm…Traditionally, one afternoon for an inked piece; Digitally, an afternoon plus an evening? xD (And if I’m rushing, 0-3 hours, haha.)

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
Usually whatever music fits the mood of the piece. Generally, for action-y things, I listen to rock, rap, alternative, and for calm-y things, I listen to soundtracks, pop, instrumentals.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
There are some that come to me in the middle of the night, or during the middle of class, or during a study session (because some problem triggered a weird mental image), which generally annoys me before I get excited. xD And then there are times that I don’t like the idea I came up with and I spend a super long time trying to think of another…xD;

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Ticonderoga No.2 soft lead pencil, 0.7 lead mechanical pencil, my 3 Sakura Micron pens and Faber-Castell brush pen (which is running out of ink), and my Genius tablet

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Black or white. >u< Oh, in my colored works? A weird combination of blue, yellow, or green? xD *doesn’t color a lot*

◆Your favorite style(s)?
Kazuya Minekura (Saiyuki) style!
Kaori Ozaki (Immortal Rain) style!
Tite Kubo (Bleach, of course) style! >D
